Changing Oracle-validated....

So, I'm installing Oracle 11.2.0.3 RAC on OEL6 using OVM (wonder if I can fit any more acronyms in there)... 11.2.0.3 now supports OEL6 and Red Hat Linux 6 as well.

In doing so, I went looking for the old oracle-validated RPM and found there was none. Looking around a bit, I found this link ... bottom line they have renamed oracle-validated to oracle-rdbms-server-11gR2-preinstall... 

So, if you go looking for Oracle-validated when doing 11.2.0.3 on OEL6, you will need to look for something new... :)

yum install oracle-rdbms-server-11gR2-preinstall

That's the ticket...
